Florida coach Billy Donovan said suspended big man Damontre Harris is re-enrolling at the university, but will not play this season.

Speaking to the media after his team beat South Carolina 74-58 on Wednesday night, Donovan said that he would give Harris an opportunity to work his way back onto the practice court but Harris would not appear in any games.

Harris, a transfer from South Carolina, was suspended in October for an unspecified violation of team rules

Just last month, Donovan dismissed him from the team altogether, agreeing to grant him a release.

Now Donovan has had a change of heart regarding the 6-10 center who once was considered a big recruit at South Carolina.

The junior, who sat out last season, averaged 5.6 points and 4.3 rebounds in two seasons with the Gamecocks.

A one-time SEC all-defensive team selection, Harris has had a rough run with the Gators. He tore his labrum after joining the team and in February was arrested after failing to show in court for a traffic violation.
