The 5-foot-11 Bright dislocated his shoulder in early December and had season-ending surgery. He was averaging 5.9 points per game in seven contests.
Bright averaged 9.3 points and 3.4 assists last season, and was the MVP of the NIT in 2012, when he averaged 16.8 points in five games to help the Cardinal win the NIT.
Bright will take advantage of the graduate transfer rule, as he will graduate and still have one year of eligibility remaining.
Stanford senior guard Aaron Bright is transferring to Saint Mary's for his final season and will be eligible to play for the Gaels next season, multiple sources told ESPN.com.
