Badgers make emergency landing

Wisconsin's team plane was forced to make an emergency landing in Pittsburgh due to an engine malfunction after the Badgers' 59-53 loss at No. 14 Maryland on Tuesday night.

A school spokesman told ESPN's Andy Katz on Wednesday morning that "everyone is safe and doing fine." The spokesman said players and team officials scattered at three hotels near the Pittsburgh airport. The Badgers eventually flew out later Wednesday and landed safely back in Madison in the afternoon.

Earlier this month, Mississippi State's chartered flight was forced to make an emergency landing in St. Louis after the plane lost power in its right engine following a game at Missouri.
