Green, the team's leading scorer and and second leading rebounder, was suspended indefinitely on Jan. 11, just hours before tipoff at LSU. He is not expected to play in either of Alabama's games this week.
It was Green's third suspension since joining the Tide in 2008. Alabama coach Anthony Grant on a teleconference earlier in the day said that both Green and Mitchell would be unavailable for Thursday's game at Arkansas.
Green averaged 14.2 points and 7.2 rebounds per game prior to his suspension. Green earned first team all-SEC honors his junior year while scoring 15.5 points with 7.4 rebounds per game.
Mitchell was the team leader in rebounds before his suspension on Feb. 7. He was second in scoring at 13.1 points per game.
