2K Sports Classic regional hosts set
PRINCETON, N.J. -- Villanova, Purdue, Alabama and Oregon State will be the regional hosts for the 2012 2K Sports Classic benefiting Wounded Warrior Project.
The championship doubleheaders for the 18th annual 12-team event will be at Madison Square Garden on Nov. 15-16, it was announced Tuesday.
Matchups for the championship rounds, as well as the entire bracket for the tournament, will be announced later.
This year the Wounded Warrior Project will become the beneficiary of the event, which in the past benefited Coaches vs. Cancer. The Wounded Warrior Project raises awareness and enlists the public's aid in meeting the needs of injured service members.
