Rob Murphy to stay at E. Michigan

YPSILANTI, Mich. -- Eastern Michigan has retained basketball coach Rob Murphy.
Murphy says had an opportunity to work for the Orlando Magic.
He was named the Mid-American Conference Coach of the Year last season after helping the Eagles win their first division title in his first year at the school.
He was hired by Eastern Michigan after working an assistant at Syracuse for seven years and leading at Detroit Crockett High School for three seasons.
