DES MOINES, Iowa -- Former Boston College point guard Jordan Daniels is transferring to Drake.
The Bulldogs say Daniels will be eligible at the end of the fall semester next season. Daniels will have three seasons of eligibility remaining.
The 5-foot-9 Daniels averaged 6.4 points and 2.6 assists for the Eagles in 2011-12 while starting 25 games. Daniels, a native of Fontana, Calif., had a career-high 21 points in a victory against Florida State last season.
Drake coach Mark Phelps says Daniels is a quick, composed and poised point guard who also is an outstanding 3-point shooter.
Drake announced the addition of Daniels on Wednesday.
