TUCSON, Ariz. -- Arizona assistant coach Emanuel Richardson is taking an undisclosed amount of time away from the program for health reasons.
Richardson said in a statement released by the school Friday that it was not a life or death situation but it was important enough for him to take time away from the university.
Richardson has been a part of Arizona's staff since head coach Sean Miller was hired in 2009. He served as an assistant under Miller at Xavier.
