Dayton center Steve McElvene dies at 20

McElvene, a redshirt freshman from New Haven High School (Ind.), died Thursday at the age of 20, the school announced. He set a school record for blocks (55), and averaged 6.1 points and 5.6 rebounds per game last season. Story

Dayton extends Miller's deal through 2022-23

Dayton coach Archie Miller has gotten a contract extension that takes him through the 2022-23 season after he led the Flyers to a share of the A-10 regular-season title and the NCAA tournament.
