College of Charleston stuns LSU

Despite a double-double of 15 points and 18 rebounds from Ben Simmons, LSU suffers its third-straight loss, falling to College of Charleston 70-58.

Simmons, LSU shocked by College of Charleston (0:50)

Myron Medcalf ESPN Staff Writer

Ben Simmons was criticized for being too timid last week. Tonight, he goes 4-for-15 and forces things. Still finished with 15 points and 18 rebounds but LSU couldn't overcome a 41-17 deficit in the first half of their loss to College of Charleston. The Tigers might have the most explosive and versatile offensive player outside the NBA, but bad defense will leave them at the bottom of the SEC. Need Keith Hornsby and Craig Victor like yesterday.

College of Charleston upsets LSU

Top recruit Ben Simmons lost one game in the past three seasons. This season at LSU he's lost three games -- the latest being an upset by College of Charleston tonight.

Cameron Johnson just drilled a three from four feet behind the arc. That has the crowd on its feet. 7:28 remaining, CofC 57, LSU 40
