Four undrafted free agents land in D.C.

The Wizards didn't own a pick in Thursday night's NBA draft, but the team reportedly has signed Villanova's Daniel Ochefu, Miami's Sheldon McClellan, Texas A&M's Danuel House and Arizona's Kaleb Tarczewski. The Washington Post

ESPN 100 point guard Chris Lykes committed to Miami, per his Twitter. He visited the Hurricanes' campus last week after also taking a trip to Villanova. Lykes, a 5-foot-7 Gonzaga (D.C.) product, is ranked No. 46 in the 2017 rankings. Miami was targeting a point guard in this class, with only rising junior JaQuan Newton currently on the roster at that position -- although incoming ESPN 100 guard Bruce Brown can play on the ball as well.


Gilmore transfers from VCU to Miami

Forward Michael Gilmore has transferred from Virginia Commonwealth to the University of Miami and will be eligible for two seasons beginning in 2017-18.
