Josh Pastner has been looking for a way out of Memphis but wasn't going to leave money on the table. He would have gone to TCU. He will land better at Georgia Tech once this is official, which I agree @GoodmanESPN will be later today.

TCU's Dixon: Return to alma mater 'just felt right'

Jamie Dixon was introduced as the new coach at his alma mater, TCU, on Tuesday and said "it was the right time" to move on from Pitt, where he led the Panthers to a 328-123 record in 13 seasons.

Jamie Dixon headed to TCU

The Pittsburgh coach, who took the Panthers to the NCAA tournament 11 times in 13 seasons, will become the new head basketball coach at his alma mater. Dixon, who played for TCU from 1984-87, will replace Trent Johnson, who was fired last week. Story
