Billy Donlon out at Wright State

Wright State has parted ways with head coach Donlon, sources tell ESPN. Donlon, 39, was with the Raiders for six seasons and took them to the Horizon League title game this year, where they lost to Green Bay.

Wright State fires Donlon after six seasons

Billy Donlon was fired by the Wright State Raiders after posting a 109-94 record in his six seasons as men's basketball coach., the school made official Friday.

Jordan Fouse scored 16 points, and Green Bay locked up a spot in the NCAA tournament for the first time since 1996 by beating Wright State 78-69 on Tuesday night in the Horizon League title game.
