Yale's Sherrod hits 30 straight shots

Brandon Sherrod hit his first five attempts against Columbia to break the Division I record for consecutive field goals made, which was previously held by Eastern Michigan's James Thompson and Bowling Green's Torian Oglesby (26 straight). Sherrod hit his final shot against Brown on Jan. 22 before going 24-of-24 over his next three games. Box score
