Florida coach Mike White said getting eight points and nine rebounds from gritty sophomore center John Egbunu, who was playing with a torn ligament in his thumb, was huge in the Gators holding on for a 68-61 victory over Arkansas and keeping alive their NCAA tournament hopes.

Dunk you very much

Devin Robinson puts an emphatic exclamation point on Florida's 68-61 victory over Arkansas. The Gators were led by Kasey Hill's 18 points and five assists off the bench.

Hannahs helps Hogs keep it close

Arkansas stays in it thanks in part to Dusty Hannahs, whose 3-pointer here closes the gap. It's not just Florida who can hit the long ball today.

Arkansas and Florida have made a mockery of the charity stripe. The two teams have combined to miss 22 free throws. Gators lead by three and trying to hang on.

Gators getting it done beyond the arc

We're not sure what was in Florida's pregame meal but clearly it was something good. KeVaughn Allen hits a 3-pointer here and the Gators are 8-15 from beyond the arc, unheard of for the SEC's second-worst shooting team from 3-point range.

Florida recovered from a brutal start and seems to be finding some rhythm now in the second half against Arkansas. Both teams have shot it poorly. The Gators, hovering in Joe Lunardi's "next four out" group, just need wins at this point after losing four of their last five games entering the postseason.

Chiozza takes it coast-to-coast

Florida's Chris Chiozza just can't be stopped. He rockets from one end of the court to the other and lays one in. At halftime, the Gators lead a low-scoring contest 29-23.

Egbunu finds way around finger injury

With a torn thumb ligament, John Egbunu has to change his game. The dunk master goes to the rack a little softer on this would-be jam.

Robinson's got the range

Florida's Devin Robinson hits this longball from way outside. His 3-pointer keeps things close during the SEC tourney opener for each team.

Kingsley dunks one again

Florida would be wise to find Moses Kingsley at all times. The Gators lose him here and the Arkansas big man gets on the business end of an alley-oop.

Kingsley cranks one down

Following a Justin Leon layup for Florida, Arkansas' Jabril Durham throws a pass to Moses Kingsley who jams one home on the other end to answer.

Watch: Florida vs. Arkansas

According to Joe Lunardi, the Gators are on the wrong side of the NCAA tourney bubble. That means Mike White's squad will have to make a run this week in the SEC tournament, maybe even win it, in order to make the Big Dance. For the Razorbacks, it's time to play spoiler. Live on SECN/WatchESPN
