ROCHESTER, New York (Ticker) -- Ryan Kraft scored twice and Miika Kiprusoff made 32 saves as the Kentucky Thoroughblades edged the Rochester Americans, 2-1. Kraft put Kentucky on the board 1:47 seconds into the first period and got the go-ahead goal with 52 seconds left in the second. He has six goals and three assists in five games after scoring 32 times for Richmond of the East Coast Hockey League. Kiprusoff stopped 12 shots in the third to nail down his 20th victory as Kentucky won for only the second time in six games. J.P. Dumont, appearing in just his second game, had an unassisted goal for Rochester, which has lost two of its last three games after winning 12 of 13.
