GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan (Ticker) -- Chris Ferraro netted the decisive goal on the Chicago Wolves' final attempt of the shootout, extending their winning streak to eight games with a 3-2 victory over the Grand Rapids Griffins. Ferraro, who had an assist in regulation, scored his first goal in three shootout attempts. Andrei Trefilov, who stopped 19 shots in regulation, has allowed goals on only 22 percent of the shootout attempts he has faced. Brian Noonan tied it at 1-1 three minutes into the third period for Chicago, which defeated the Griffins for the first time in three meetings. Yves Sarault tallied with 7:16 left in the second period for the Griffins, who fell to 3-8 in tiebreakers. Jani Hurme, who is 1-4 in shootouts, made 15 saves in regulation for Grand Rapids.
