WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah (Ticker) -- Fred Knipscheer scored the deciding goal in the shootout, lifting the Milwaukee Admirals to a 5-4 victory over the Utah Grizzlies. Knipscheer, who picked up an assist in regulation, recorded the second of three shootout goals for Milwaukee. John Purves, whose goal with 62 seconds left forced the extra session, accounted for Utah's lone shootout tally. Chris Mason stopped 32 shots during regulation and four of the five attempts during the shootout for the Admirals, who broke their six-game winless drought (1-5-1). Darcy Werenka scored twice for the Grizzlies, who had their winless streak extended to five games (0-2-3).
