WINNIPEG, Manitoba (Ticker) -- Konstantin Gorovikov scored the go-ahead goal early in the second period as the Grand Rapids Griffins rallied to defeat the Manitoba Moose, 2-1. Bill Bowler's goal 5:05 into the game gave Manitoba an early 1-0 lead. Kory Karlander tied the contest 6:17 later with his fifth of the season. Gorovikov scored 7:20 into the second period and the Griffins held on for their 18th win. Jani Hurme made 30 saves for Grand Rapids, which continues to lead the Eastern Division. Jason Elliott stopped 22 shots for the Moose.
