Springfield RW Radivojevic takes AHL weekly honor
SPRINGFIELD, Massachusetts (Ticker) -- Branko Radivojevic of the
Springfield Falcons was named the AHL Player of the Week for the
period ending Sunday.
In three games last week, Radivojevic recorded five goals and
one assist, including his first career hat trick.
After a 1-0 loss to Lowell on Friday, Radivojevic scored both
goals for Springfield in a 5-2 setback at Hershey on Saturday.
He then notched three goals and an assist in a 5-3 win at
Philadelphia on Sunday, his first two multi-goal games of the
season.
A first-year pro from Slovakia, Radivojevic was originally
drafted by Colorado in the third round of the 1999 draft.
