walks. He gave up Carl Everett's RBI single in the fourth, and
Nomar Garciaparra's leadoff homer in the sixth .

in his last five games.
Philadelphia went ahead in the first inning when Lieberthal's
one-out grounder went right through the legs of third baseman
Wilton Veras, allowing Kevin Sefcik to score from second on the
error.
Philadelphia made it 3-0 in the third after Doug Glanville led
off with a single and stole second, and Bobby Abreu reached on a
passed ball as he struck out and the knuckleball eluded catcher
Jason Varitek. Lieberthal and Pat Burrell followed with RBI
singles.
Sefcik hit a sacrifice fly in the fourth for a 4-1 lead.
The Phillies made it 4-1 in the fourth with a sacrifice fly by
Sefcik, and added two more runs in the sixth on Lieberthal's first
homer and a bases-loaded walk by Glanville.

consecutive errors by shortstop Desi Relaford and Everett's
sacrifice fly.
