And with it, he passed Chipper Jones for the 2nd all-time as a switch-hitter. Only Mickey Mantle, with 46, has more. Teixeira homered from both sides of the plate for the 14th time in his career, passing Nick Swisher for the most such games in MLB history, according to Elias.
