Willie Bloomquist rejoins Mariners
SEATTLE -- Veteran utility player Willie Bloomquist has signed a two-year, $5.8 million contract with the Seattle Mariners, bringing him back to the team he started his major league career with.
The Mariners announced the deal Thursday after Bloomquist passed a physical. He will earn $2.8 million in 2014 and $3 million in 2015.
