Matt Treanor signs with Indians
CLEVELAND -- Free agent veteran catcher Matt Treanor has signed a minor league contract with the Indians.
Treanor also has received an invitation to training camp, and if he earns a spot on Cleveland's 25-man roster, he'll make $800,000. Treanor, 37, did not play last season while recovering from left knee surgery. He last played for the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2012.
