Sam Fuld agrees to deal with A's

The Oakland Athletics have reached an agreement with outfielder Sam Fuld on a minor league contract, a baseball source told ESPN.com.

Assistant general manager David Forst confirmed the deal Tuesday.

The deal, which includes an invite to major league spring camp, will pay Fuld an $800,000 base salary if he makes Oakland's roster and includes $100,000 in incentives for games played, a baseball source told ESPN.com.
