Jose Reyes: Jays will be better in '14

After being traded by the Miami Marlins after just one season, Jose Reyes is relieved to be preparing for a second season with the Blue Jays in 2014 despite an injury-marred 2013 season where Toronto fell far short of expectations.

The All-Star shortstop told MLB.com that it "means a lot" to him that the Jays weren't quick to jettison him. The Marlins traded him to the Blue Jays in 2012 just one season after he signed a six-year, $106 million contract with the team.
