George Springer makes Astros debut
HOUSTON -- It was an eventful day for highly touted prospect George Springer, who made his major league debut in a 6-4 11th inning loss to the Kansas City Royals Wednesday night, batting second and playing right field for the Houston Astros.
While the 24-year-old outfielder had some early success, going 1-for-5 with a walk and two strikeouts, those in charge of the scoreboard did not:
