Billy Hamilton sprains left knuckles
CINCINNATI -- Reds center fielder Billy Hamilton sprained knuckles on his left hand while making a diving catch to open the game against the Milwaukee Brewers on Thursday night. He's expected to be sidelined a few games.
Carlos Gomez lined Homer Bailey's first pitch hard toward the gap in right-center field. Hamilton stretched all-out for the diving catch, landing hard on his left side. He grimaced and flexed his left hand and wrist as he got up.
