Mat Latos has start cut short
Mat Latos' return to the Cincinnati Reds might be delayed after the right-hander had to leave a minor league rehab start after just 67 pitches on Wednesday night, manager Bryan Price said Thursday.
Latos, who left the game after developing a cramp in his calf, may make one more start in the minors before the Reds will consider activating him and bringing their rotation back to full strength.
The Reds had wanted to see how Latos felt after throwing approximately 100 pitches.
