Trout, Cabrera bow out of Derby
Giancarlo Stanton and Yoenis Cespedes are among those jostling for a spot in this year's Home Run Derby. Not fighting for an invitation, though? Fan favorites Mike Trout and Miguel Cabrera.
Trout, an outfielder for the Angels, removed himself from consideration early Sunday, saying he likes to watch from the sideline. Tigers first baseman Cabrera echoed those sentiments after Sunday night's loss.
"I'm going to enjoy watching," Cabrera said, according to The Detroit News.
