Jordan Zimmermann set for MRI
Washington Nationals right-hander Jordan Zimmermann likely won't pitch in Tuesday's All-Star Game after leaving his start Friday night against the Philadelphia Phillies with a right biceps injury.
Zimmermann abruptly left in the fourth inning of an eventual 6-2 loss. He will be further evaluated and have an MRI on Saturday.
He was scheduled to participate in his second straight All-Star Game but now isn't expected to pitch Tuesday in Minneapolis, manager Matt Williams said.
