Byron Buxton likely out for season
Minnesota Twins minor leaguer Byron Buxton, one of the top prospects in baseball, will likely miss the rest of the season after suffering a concussion during a scary outfield collison, general manager Terry Ryan told reporters Monday.
Buxton flew to Fort Myers, Florida, to begin his recovery after colliding with teammate Mike Kvasnicka during his first game at Double-A New Britain.
