Outfielder's 5-year deal worth $6.25M

Tampa Bay Devil Rays: Outfielder Delmon Young, the No. 1 pick in last June's draft, was signed Tuesday to a five-year contract.

The deal is worth $6.25M and includes a $3.7 million signing bonus, ESPN's Peter Gammons reports.

Young will report to the Devil Rays' instructional league program Sept. 19.
