Dodgers negotiating move to Arizona for spring

PHOENIX -- The Los Angeles Dodgers and Chicago White Sox are negotiating to move their spring training bases to Glendale, Ariz., with the teams possibly sharing a stadium in the Phoenix suburb as early as 2008.

The Dodgers would leave their site in Vero Beach, Fla., where they have trained since 1948 -- nine years before the team moved from Brooklyn to Los Angeles. Dodgers spokesman Josh Rawitch said the club would not comment on the negotiations until after the meeting Wednesday.
