Rockies agree to terms with Fogg, release Freeman
DENVER -- The Colorado Rockies signed pitcher Josh Fogg to a one-year deal and released outfielder Choo Freeman on Friday.
Fogg and the Rockies agreed to terms on a deal worth $3.63 million. The right-handed pitcher was 11-9 with a 5.49 ERA in 31 games for the Rockies last season. Fogg and Jeff Francis were the only Colorado starters to turn in winning seasons.
After making $1.05 million last year, Fogg had asked for $4.25
