Yanks to start meetings Thursday, try to get back to playoffs

TAMPA, Fla. -- The New York Yankees will sort through their offseason plans when organizational meetings begin Thursday at the team's spring training complex.

Co-chairmen Hank and Hal Steinbrenner were to participate in the sessions along with team president Randy Levine, chief operating officer Lonn Trost and general manager Brian Cashman.
