Infante could miss up to two months
ATLANTA -- Atlanta Braves infielder and part-time leadoff hitter Omar Infante could be out as long as two months after breaking a bone in his left hand when he was hit by a pitch Wednesday night.
Infante's fifth metacarpal -- the bone extending from his little finger to his wrist -- was broken when he was hit by Manny Corpas of the Colorado Rockies in the sixth inning of the Braves' 12-4 win.
