Cabrera hits wall, strains shoulder

ARLINGTON, Texas -- New York Yankees center fielder Melky Cabrera left Tuesday night's game against Texas with a strained right shoulder after running into the wall while trying to make a catch in the first inning.

The start was delayed 2 hours, 24 minutes by rain. With rain falling again, Cabrera raced back in pursuit of a long drive by Rangers leadoff hitter Ian Kinsler.
