Indians owner defends recent trades

CLEVELAND -- With financial losses mounting and the Cleveland Indians underperforming, owner Paul Dolan has had to accept life in baseball's mid-market world.

"Every four or five years, if we can have a shot at the World Series and compete for the playoffs like we did in '05, that's as good as it gets," Dolan said.
