PHILADELPHIA -- Roy Oswalt became the first Philadelphia Phillies pitcher to play a position in the field in 39 years after Ryan Howard was ejected in the 14th inning of the 4-2, 16-inning loss to the Houston Astros on Tuesday night.
Oswalt was the final out of the game, grounding out to third base with runners at first and second, in his only plate appearance of the night.
