Shane Victorino has sprained thumb
MIAMI -- Philadelphia Phillies center fielder Shane Victorino has a grade 1 sprain of his right thumb, and assistant general manager Scott Proefrock didn't rule out the possibility of placing him on the disabled list.
Victorino returned Tuesday to Philadelphia, where the injury was diagnosed by a hand specialist. A grade 1 sprain is the least severe.
