Chipper Jones scratched due to quad
ATLANTA -- Braves third baseman Chipper Jones said Tuesday he is frustrated to be dealing with a new injury only one day after his return from the disabled list.
Jones will not start against the Pirates on Tuesday night after he strained his right quadriceps in Monday night's game.
Jones, 39, had arthroscopic surgery on July 9 to repair torn cartilage in his right knee. He returned with two hits, including his ninth homer, on Monday night.
