Mark Rogers banned for stimulant

NEW YORK -- A minor league pitcher who played for the Milwaukee Brewers last year has been suspended 25 games after a second positive test for a stimulant.

Right-hander Mark Rogers was suspended Friday for a violation of the Major League Baseball drug program.

Rogers was Milwaukee's first-round draft pick in 2004. He made his big league debut last season and had a 1.80 ERA in four games.
