Tim Hudson (cramp) taken to hospital
WASHINGTON -- Atlanta Braves right-hander Tim Hudson has been taken to a hospital to be treated for a cramp near his neck.
Hudson earned the win in Atlanta's 7-4 victory over the Washington Nationals on Friday night. He gave up three runs in 5 2/3 innings to improve to 16-10.
During his final inning, the sixth, Hudson was visited on the mound by manager Fredi Gonzalez and a team trainer but stayed in the game to face four more batters.
