Jayson Werth to miss 12 weeks
WASHINGTON -- The Nationals say outfielder Jayson Werth had surgery on his broken left wrist and will miss more than six weeks.
Werth will be sidelined for 12 weeks, MLB.com reported Monday, citing a baseball source.
Werth's operation was at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., a day after he hurt himself trying to make a sliding catch against the Phillies.
