Oliver Perez back in major leagues

SEATTLE -- Left-handed reliever Oliver Perez has been selected by the Seattle Mariners from Tacoma while right-handed reliever Steve Delabar was optioned to the Triple-A team.

Seattle made the moves before Saturday night's game against the San Francisco Giants. To clear a spot on the 40-man roster, the Mariners designated for assignment minor league outfielder Chih-Hsien Chiang.
