Jake Peavy in for C.J. Wilson
Los Angeles Angels pitcher C.J. Wilson has been scratched from Tuesday's All-Star Game with a blister on the middle finger of his pitching hand and has been replaced by the Chicago White Sox's Jake Peavy.
Wilson, 9-5 with a 2.43 ERA, was one of four Angels selected to the game, joining Jered Weaver, Mike Trout and Mark Trumbo. Wilson pitched in last season's All-Star Game representing the Texas Rangers and took the loss after allowing a three-run homer to Milwaukee's Prince Fielder ...
