Umpire Jeff Kellogg leaves game

ANAHEIM, Calif. -- Umpire Jeff Kellogg was forced out of Saturday night's game between the Detroit Tigers and Los Angeles Angels after taking a foul tip flush off the facemask in the bottom of the second inning.

Kellogg needed a couple of minutes to make it back to his feet after being hit by the foul ball off the bat of Torii Hunter. Kellogg was checked by Angels head trainer Adam Nevala before being accompanied to the umpires' dressing room.
