Two minor leaguers suspended
NEW YORK -- Two minor league players have been suspended 50 games after testing positive for banned drugs.
Oakland pitcher Gary Daley Jr. and free agent first baseman-outfielder Austin Gallagher were penalized Friday by the commissioner's office.
Daley tested positive for Methylphenidate. The 27-year-old righty went 10-10 with a 5.11 ERA for Double-A Midland last season.
