Astros sign shortstop Ronny Cedeno
KISSIMMEE, Fla. -- Shortstop Ronny Cedeno agreed Sunday to a one-year contract with the Houston Astros, who informed infielder Tyler Greene he will not make the season-opening roster.
The 30-year-old Cedeno is an eight-year major league veteran who hit .259 in 78 games with the New York Mets last season.
